description

Piscina versions before 4.9.4, 5.3.2, and 6.0.0-rc.5 can read security-sensitive worker-pool settings inherited from Object.prototype. An attacker who can first pollute Object.prototype may cause code to run in worker threads or during task scheduling, or alter worker environment settings.

mitigation

Upgrade piscina to 4.9.4, 5.3.2, or 6.0.0-rc.5, as appropriate for your release line. Also remediate prototype-pollution paths in the application and its dependencies.

fixed in 5.3.2, 4.9.4, 6.0.0-rc.5
