description

DataEase before 2.10.26 can render untrusted chart dimension values as active HTML in bar-horizontal chart axis-label tooltips. An authenticated user with permission to edit dataset fields and chart configuration can cause script to run in another dashboard viewer's session when that viewer hovers a truncated axis label.

mitigation

Upgrade DataEase to version 2.10.26 or later. Until upgraded, restrict permissions to edit dataset fields and dashboard chart configurations, and avoid truncated axis labels in bar-horizontal charts containing untrusted data.

fixed in 2.10.26
