CVE-2026-101907
validatedZero produced an exploit or a check.GHSA-r4gj-5m52-g5wh ↗EUVD-2026-88384 ↗
description
Axios versions before 1.20.0 can follow redirects through the fetch adapter even when an application configures maxRedirects: 0. An attacker able to control a requested URL or redirect source may cause requests to reach internal services if the application relies on that option to prevent redirect-based access.
mitigation
Upgrade axios to >=1.20.0 or later.
fixed in >=1.20.0
outcome
Mechanism verified: the exploit fired on the vulnerable build and stayed silent on the patched one, but the server it ran against was ours, so no check ships for it.
