description

European VAT Compliance Assistant for WooCommerce through version 1.36.10 is affected by stored cross-site scripting. An unauthenticated attacker can cause browser-executed script to be stored and later run when a user views affected content, if guest checkout is enabled and the application accepts a supplied country header.

mitigation

Disable guest checkout or the affected plugin until an updated release is available. Configure the edge proxy or CDN to discard client-controlled CF-IPCountry headers before they reach WordPress.
